An extremely interesting insight of the state of the art in 1928 regarding the movie industry, from the eyes and ears of recently hired sound technician in the sound department at the United Artists movie studio.

There is a curious reluctance from the overall production about including sound in the new movies, which ends up to be understandable due to the limitations and overall inexperience on the sound matter. Everything was new.
